自然とともに暮らし、人と人が支え合ってきた大宜味の暮らしには、長寿を支えてきた知恵や「生きがい」のヒントが残っています。

集落案内師と歩きながら、昔から続く暮らしや文化をひも解き、「長寿の秘密」とは何か、「豊かに生きる」とは何かを探求します。

集落を歩くことで、私たち自身の暮らしや、これからの生き方を見つめ直す90分です。

Village Walking Tour

Explore the nearby small village of Janagusuku, where Kijoka Sho School is located. According to one theory, this village is home to the northernmost gusuku (castle ruins) in Okinawa. While the gusuku is generally only accessible to locals, a village guide will take you through the historic town that developed alongside the castle. Walking through the village allows you to discover hidden charms that you wouldn’t notice from inside a car.
